Working as a volunteer at the Traversée is an enriching experience, an opportunity to live an extraordinary defeat or just simply to meet interesting people. As much for the athlete looking for another performance as for the visitor who is seeking high entertainment, everyone is just as important and essential to us.

Your availability, your skills, as much as your smile, add to the ever growing family of La Traversée, the essential link for the success of this great adventure.

What’s in it for a volunteer?
Volunteers receive free passes for the events, an official sweater and other interesting advantages as the Salon des bénévoles, a place to rest up and relax and to chat with other volunteers. A privileged place where the volunteers find the needed information and resources to help them in their work. Breakfast, lunch and dinner, plus snacks and refreshments, are served every day. Furthermore, a special evening, Hommage aux bénévoles (Tribute to the volunteers) follows the event in order to show the great appreciation and to address the immense work that is done. A lunch is served and numerous prizes are awarded.
